Project Location: Tixiangwan Villa
Equipment: burks B-Lift 55L Sewage Lifting Station
Application: Villa basement drainage
The bathroom drainage points in the basement of Tixiangwan Villa sit below the municipal sewer line, so sewage cannot drain by gravity. A burks B-Lift 55L Sewage Lifting Station was installed for this project. The station sits in a floor pit in the bathroom, with several inlet pipes converging into the tank. The external design keeps the motor and check-valve assembly outside the tank, so routine servicing needs no opening of the tank cover. Compact and easy to install, it leaves the underground space cleaner and quieter.

Since it was put into service, the basement drains smoothly. Sitting in its floor pit, the station leaves the floor flat and unobtrusive, and runs quietly. When servicing is needed, lifting the cover is all it takes.
