The APM-E series intelligent high-efficiency circulator pump uses a canned (shielded) motor: the stator is fully shielded and the rotating parts run immersed in the pumped liquid, which also cools the motor and lubricates the bearings. Leak-free, quiet, energy efficient and easy to install, the pump is pre-set at the factory and suits underfloor heating systems, single-pipe heating systems and two-pipe heating systems.
From the manual: overview and operating conditions
● Permanent-magnet motor, variable-frequency drive closely integrated with the motor, compact construction
● Low operating noise
● Adaptive control mode suitable for most applications
● Two differential-pressure control modes (proportional and constant pressure)
● Display shows actual power consumption P1 in watts (W)
● Automatic night mode
● Intelligent variable-speed frequency control
● Energy saving up to European Class A efficiency requirements

| System pressure | Max. 1.0 MPa |
| Protection class | IP42 |
| Power supply | Single-phase 230 V, 50/60 Hz, voltage tolerance -10% to +6% |
| Model explanation | Example APM25-12-180E: 25 = nominal inlet/outlet diameter (mm), 12 = max. head (m), 180 = port-to-port length (mm), E = motor encapsulation mode |
From the manual: control panel (AUTO adaptive mode / CS speed mode)
● AUTO (adaptive mode): automatically adjusts pump performance to the actual heat demand of the system, with self-learning function
● CS (speed control mode): speed stages set according to heat demand while the pump runs
● Fault codes: E1 over-current protection / E2 motor locked-rotor protection / E3 drive self-test failure / E4 abnormal supply voltage / E5 dry-run protection / E6 phase-loss protection (motor not connected or poor cable contact)
