The bathroom drainage points in the basement of Fuchun Shanju sit below the municipal sewer line, so sewage cannot drain by gravity. A burks B-Lift 55L Sewage Lifting Station was installed for this project. The station stands against the wall, with inlet and outlet pipes neatly arranged along it. The external design keeps the motor and check-valve assembly outside the tank, so routine servicing needs no opening of the tank cover. Compact and easy to install, it leaves the underground space cleaner and quieter.

Niche installation — another home in the same community fitted the station into a reserved wall niche.
Since it was put into service, the basement drains smoothly and the bathroom is no longer limited by drain position. The station runs quietly and the room stays dry and tidy. With the pump mounted externally, checks and servicing are done outside the tank, with no disruption to the space.
