The kitchen drainage points in the basement of Wanyuecheng sit below the municipal sewer line, so sewage cannot drain by gravity. A burks B-Lift 28L Sewage Lifting Station was installed for this project. The station is installed in the cabinet under the kitchen sink, solving a drain point below the main line. The external design keeps the motor and check-valve assembly outside the tank, so routine servicing needs no opening of the tank cover. Compact and easy to install, it leaves the underground space cleaner and quieter.

Since it was put into service, the basement drains smoothly. Hidden inside the cabinet, the station disappears behind the doors and blends with the interior. It runs quietly, and servicing is done simply by opening the cabinet.
