burks BES Single-Stage End-Suction Centrifugal Pump

The BES series is a single-stage, single-suction (end-suction) centrifugal pump developed with an advanced hydraulic model combining the strengths of similar products worldwide. Its high-efficiency volute and structure deliver high efficiency, reliable performance and easy installation and use, effectively reducing running costs in all kinds of applications.

● High standard: complies with ISO 9908 (Technical Specification for Centrifugal Pumps, Class III); dimensions and performance comply with BS EN 733 and DIN 24255, interchangeable with other pumps built to these standards
● High-efficiency volute casing; flange dimensions suit PN 1.6 MPa flanges of the same class
● Back pull-out design: the rotor can be replaced without dismantling the pipework; a worn impeller wear ring only needs the sealing ring replaced to restore best performance
● High reliability at high speed and heavy load: overhang ratio 0.66-1.1, high stiffness and small deflection
● Hydraulic balancing plus dynamic and static impeller balancing for smooth running; enlarged suction passage gives good suction performance and low NPSHr
● High standardization: 48 models share only 5 bracket types, 6 shaft types and 4 bearing types, so spare parts are highly interchangeable

For clear water and liquids physically and chemically similar to water: pressure boosting for waterworks and water supply companies, circulation and cooling in industrial process systems, boiler feed, industrial water supply and drainage, farm irrigation, air-conditioning systems, municipal water supply and drainage, and fire-fighting systems. Model example BES 50-32-200/11-2: 50 = suction diameter (mm), 32 = discharge diameter (mm), 200 = nominal impeller diameter (mm), 11 = motor power (kW), 2 = motor poles.
