Operation Guide
Manual Start/Stop
Press the start/stop key once, the manual indicator light turns on, forcibly starting the pump; press it again, the light turns off, and the pump stops. Functions: 1. Facilitate system troubleshooting and maintenance; 2. Assist in accurately setting start and stop pressures. At the beginning of installation, use this function to forcibly start the pump to obtain the pump closed-operation pressure, pipeline static pressure and water tower full-water pressure, and record them to correctly set start and stop pressures.
Pump closed-operation pressure Pf: When running the pump, close all water outlets, including the water level float switch, the displayed pressure value at this time is the pump closed-operation pressure.
Pipeline static pressure Pg: For towerless water supply, start the pump while opening all outlets (faucets), let all pipelines fill with water, then close all faucets, wait a while and stop the pump, the displayed pressure value at this time is the pipeline static pressure. (Note: If the displayed pressure continues to drop, it indicates pipeline leakage.)
Water tower full-water pressure Pm: For water tower water supply, when the water tower is full and the pump stops, the displayed pressure value is the water tower full-water pressure.
Setting Operation
Long press the [SET] key for six seconds to enter the setting interface. First is the start pressure setting, at this time press the [▲] and [▼] keys to set the start pressure, factory default is 1.5, refer to the typical application scenario setting methods for details.
Press the [SET] key a second time to set the start delay. Factory default is 10 seconds, maximum can be set to 60 seconds, if the pump starts frequently, appropriately increase it.
Press the [SET] key a third time to set the stop pressure. Factory default is 2.5, refer to the typical application scenario setting methods for details.
Press the [SET] key a fourth time to set the stop delay. Factory default is 10 seconds, maximum can be set to 60 seconds, if the pump starts frequently, appropriately increase it.
Press the [SET] key a fifth time to set the dry-running pressure. Factory default is 0.5KG, users can set it as needed, "00" means turning off dry-running protection, the dry-running protection value should be less than the start setting value.
Press the [SET] key a sixth time to set the dry-running delay. Maximum can be set to 120 seconds, if the pump starts frequently it can be appropriately increased.
Press the [SET] key a seventh time to set overload protection. Factory default is 5A, the actual overload protection value should equal 1.5 times the motor rated current. Assuming the pump motor rated power is 1.5KW, then the rated current is about 6.8A, then the overload protection value should be set to about 6.8×1.5=10.2.
Press the [SET] key an eighth time to set the overload delay. Factory default is 10 seconds, maximum can be set to 120 seconds, if the pump starts frequently it can be appropriately increased.
Press the [SET] key a ninth time to set the pressure unit. Factory default is kg/cm2, press the up/down keys to switch (bar, kg/cm2, psi).
Press the [SET] key a tenth time to exit the setting page. After setting, it is automatically saved and exits the setting page, returning to the display page.
Common Troubleshooting
Frequent pump starts
Causes: 1. Stop pressure set too low, or start pressure set too high; 2. Too much air in the pump; 3. No check valve installed in the pipeline; 4. During testing, water level height is insufficient and no pressure tank is installed; 5. Start and stop delay settings too small; 6. Overload protection set too low or delay too small. → Handling: 1. Set reasonable start/stop pressures; 2. Remove air from the pump; 3. Install a check valve, add a pressure tank; 4. If pipeline pressure is insufficient during testing, add a pressure tank; 5. Appropriately increase delay time; 6. Appropriately increase overload current value and overload delay.
Motor starts then stops, showing no-load
Causes: 1. Stop pressure set too low; 2. Stop delay set too small; 3. No-load protection set too high, misjudged as dry-running. → Handling: 1. Set a reasonable stop pressure; 2. Increase stop delay time; 3. Reset no-load protection.
Motor does not stop when water is full
Causes: 1. Stop pressure too high, stop delay too long; 2. Overload protection set too high. → Handling: 1. Reset stop pressure and delay; 2. Reset overload protection.
Water tower empty but does not start
Causes: Start pressure too low, start delay too long. → Handling: Reset start pressure and delay.
Overload protection displayed, cannot restart pump
Causes: 1. Overload protection set too low, delay set too short; 2. Pipeline valve closed, pump blocked, motor stuck or voltage severely fluctuating. → Handling: 1. Reset overload protection and delay; 2. After troubleshooting, power off and restart.
Typical Application Scenarios
Well with tower water supply

Pressure setting method: 1. Theoretical setting method: Stop pressure ≤ (pump maximum head P-H) × 0.1-0.3KG; Start pressure ≥ (H1+H2) × 0.1+0.3. 2. Precise setting method: Stop pressure = screen pressure value when the pump is running and the pool water is about to be full; Start pressure = screen pressure value after water is full and pump stops - H2×0.1. Note: Due to the influence of pump head and floor height accuracy and actual pipeline internal pressure, it is recommended to use the second method, so the setting is more accurate, thereby reducing unnecessary energy loss.
Well without tower water supply

A self-priming pump can be used instead of a submersible pump in this scenario. Pressure setting method: 1. Theoretical setting method: Stop pressure ≤ (pump maximum head P-H) × 0.1-0.3KG; Start pressure ≥ H1×0.1+0.3KG. 2. Precise setting method: (For the test methods of pump closed-operation pressure Pf and pipeline static pressure Pg, see the Operation Guide) Stop pressure = screen pressure value when the pump is running in closed operation (pump pumping without any water discharge); Start pressure = screen pressure value when all water pipes are filled with water and the pump stops - H×0.1. Note: Due to the influence of pump head and floor height accuracy and actual pipeline internal pressure, it is recommended to use the second method, adjusting to an energy-saving state according to the actual water use.
Tower downward boosting water supply

Pressure setting method: 1. Theoretical setting method: Stop pressure ≤ pump maximum head P×0.1-0.3KG; Start pressure ≥ 0.3KG. 2. Precise setting method: Stop pressure = screen pressure value when the pump is running in closed operation (pump pumping without any water discharge); Start pressure = about 0.3KG, adjust according to actual water use. Note: Due to the influence of pump head and floor height accuracy and actual pipeline internal pressure, it is recommended to use the second method.
Towerless upward boosting water supply

Pressure setting method: 1. Theoretical setting method: Stop pressure ≤ pump maximum head P×0.1-0.3KG; Start pressure ≥ pump maximum head P×0.1+0.3KG. 2. Precise setting method: Stop pressure = screen pressure value when the pump is running in closed operation (pump pumping without any water discharge); Start pressure = screen pressure value when all water pipes are filled with water and the pump stops - H×0.1. Note: Due to the influence of pump head and floor height accuracy and actual pipeline internal pressure, it is recommended to use the second method, adjusting to an energy-saving state according to the actual water use.
