Project: Suning Yuecheng
Equipment: burks B-Lift 28L sewage lifting station
Application: Basement drainage (pit installation)
In the basement at Suning Yuecheng, the drainage equipment is sunk into a blue pit, so the floor is kept completely intact. The drainage point sits below the municipal network, so sewage cannot flow out by gravity. One burks B-Lift 28L sewage lifting station was selected, sunk into the pit, with the burks controller mounted on the wall beside the pit. The white inlet pipe and grey outlet pipe come out of the pit, and the red valve handle sits at the pit edge, operable while standing on the floor. The pipework inside the pit is neat, the floor outside is flat, and the basement can be furnished with furniture and activity areas as usual, with the drainage equipment taking up not an inch of living space. Inspection requires neither climbing down to the pit bottom nor opening the tank cover — the external pump design lets all maintenance be done outside the tank. Much of a villa basement's ease comes from this kind of undisturbing design.
Pit full view — the yellow tank in the blue pit, white inlet pipe and grey outlet pipe.
Controller and pit full view — the wall-mounted controller, blue pit and pipework along the wall.
Pit close view — the external motor, tank cover and grey outlet pipe.
After installation, the equipment is sunk into the blue pit, the floor is kept completely intact, the controller is on the wall beside the pit, operation can be done standing on the floor, inspection requires no going down into the pit or opening the tank cover, and the basement can be arranged as usual.
