Project: Kunlun Garden
Equipment: burks B-Lift 55L sewage lifting station
Application: Basement drainage (pit installation)
In the basement of Kunlun Garden, photographed looking down from the pit opening, the pipe routing is clear at a glance. The drainage point is below the municipal sewer network, so sewage cannot flow by gravity. One burks B-Lift 55L sewage lifting station was selected, with the whole unit sunk into a square pit in the floor. A thick white inlet pipe comes in from the left, a grey outlet pipe with a red valve goes out on the right, and the yellow tank and external motor are fitted inside the pit. The black service cover and cables are also contained within the pit, with no pipe out of place. The pit opening is neat, no pipes cross above floor level, and the basement floor and walls remain intact. The large tank is paired with an external motor, so servicing does not require opening the tank cover. For a villa basement drainage system, an installation like this has real substance without taking away living space.
After installation, the unit and pipe routing inside the pit are clear, the pit opening is neat, no pipes cross above floor level, servicing does not require opening the tank cover, and the basement floor and walls remain intact.
