About This Project

In the basement of Xuzhou Baolong Mansion, the drainage equipment is fitted into the recess left in the wood-coloured cabinet frame. The carpentry has not yet been panelled over, which is the most demanding step in a villa fit-out. The drainage point is below the municipal sewer network, so sewage cannot flow by gravity. One burks B-Lift 28L sewage lifting station was selected, with the yellow tank and external motor set into the middle of the cabinet frame. White inlet and grey outlet pipes come out from behind the frame, the red valve handle can be reached inside the frame, and the frame, pipes and equipment match in size precisely. Once the cabinet doors are fitted, the equipment will be completely hidden inside the wood-coloured cabinetry. The basement bathroom will show only the wood finish and countertop, with the drainage equipment out of sight, quiet and taking up no extra space. Much of a villa's premium feel is created by concealing things in exactly this way.

In Use

After installation, the equipment is set into the wood-coloured cabinet frame and will be completely hidden once the cabinet doors are fitted. The basement bathroom will show only the wood finish and countertop, the drainage equipment will be out of sight and take up no extra space, and routine maintenance can be carried out within the cabinet frame.
