Project: Midea Hancheng Shop
Equipment: burks B-Lift 55L sewage lifting station
Application: Basement drainage (installed in pit, backflow prevention)
The basement drainage for the Midea Hancheng shop was built inside a dark-colored pit. What a shop fears most is backflow during heavy rain - one sewage backflow incident ruins both the goods and the floor. The burks B-Lift 55L sewage lifting station sits in the pit, with a yellow tank and an external motor, white inlet and grey outlet pipes with a red valve handle meeting above the pit, and a burks controller mounted on the wall outside the pit. The basement drainage points are below the municipal sewer network, so neither rainwater nor sewage can flow out by gravity. This 55L unit collects the shop's basement sewage and lifts it out, so on heavy-rain days there is no longer any worry about backflow flooding into the shop. The floor stays dry, business goes on as usual, and drainage can simply be left to this unit in the pit.

After installation, the shop floor stays dry on heavy-rain days, sewage lifting works normally, the controller is mounted on the wall outside the pit, daily checks do not require going down into the pit, and business is not affected by drainage.
