Project: Puyue Mendi
Equipment: burks B-Lift 55L sewage lifting station
Application: Basement drainage (corner floor installation)
The basement of Puyue Mendi was built as a living space, with ceiling height and natural light to match, yet drainage first had to solve a practical problem: the drainage points sit below the municipal sewer network, so sewage cannot flow out by gravity. One burks B-Lift 55L sewage lifting station was therefore selected. The unit sits on the floor against the corner, with a yellow tank and an external motor. The check valve and motor are both outside the tank, the red valve handle is easy to spot at a glance, and the inlet and outlet pipes run neatly along the wall, leaving no crisscrossing pipes in the middle of the basement and keeping the activity space fully open. Daily inspection requires neither opening the tank cover nor dismantling the main pipework. Tucked into the corner, the equipment leaves the basement free to be arranged as a home theater, fitness area or storage room, and drainage no longer interferes with the quality of villa life.
Full front view — the unit's position in the corner and the pipe routing.
Close front view — the external motor, check valve and red valve handle.
Close side view — the outlet and inlet pipes laid along the wall.
After installation, the unit sits on the floor against the corner, the pipework runs neatly along the wall, and there are no extra pipes in the middle of the basement. Daily checks can be done from outside the tank without opening the cover, the basement can be arranged freely, and the living space is not disturbed by the drainage equipment.
