Thank you for using the burks BKS-AP/BKS-APN series products. To fully understand the functions of this product and operate it correctly, please read the instruction manual carefully before installation and use, and keep it properly for quick reference when questions arise during use.
Before installation and operation, please strictly follow the installation provisions of the manual to avoid serious harm such as flooding, fire and electric shock caused by incorrect installation and use. If the pump is damaged due to installation not in accordance with the manual, or personal injury and property loss are caused thereby, the company shall not be held responsible.
The BKS-AP/BKS-APN series all use IC control boards. They are constant-pressure water supply systems integrating the water pump, motor, pressure tank and electronic controller, suitable for pressurizing clean water without impurities in general. During use, the electronic controller controls the start and stop of the booster according to changes in water pressure, so as to provide a stable water supply. They contain no toxic substances harmful to the human body, are durable and rust-free, non-toxic and pollution-free, making your water use more assured.

The water output of one faucet is calculated at 15L/min.

Note: when installing the inlet and outlet water pipes, be sure to use the original flanges and new screws supplied with this machine.
1. The water pump must be installed by licensed professionals, and the power supply wiring must comply with electrical regulations.
2. Wire the power strictly according to the wiring diagram and install a no-fuse breaker to avoid motor burnout or fire.
3. The installation site must be protected from sun and rain, and must not be installed indoors, on ceilings, carpets or near electrical equipment, so as to prevent water leakage from damaging decoration or other electrical facilities.
4. The installation site must have a drain hole with a diameter greater than 32mm, and it must be kept unobstructed. (The drain hole must be large enough to discharge leaked water to prevent flooding)

5. Confirm the power supply before energizing, and install a leakage circuit breaker and grounding wire properly to ensure safe use.

9. The installation site must reserve maintenance space and be kept dry and ventilated.

10. Install the pump as close to the water source as possible; excessive distance will reduce efficiency.
11. Pipes and joints must be properly sealed. Leakage at the outlet end will cause frequent starting of the pump and easy failure; poor sealing of the suction pipe will cause the pump to lose its water suction function and run dry. Do not install a vent pipe on the inlet pipeline, because the vent pipe will cause the pump to suck in air and run dry; prolonged dry running will damage the shaft seal and raise the water temperature inside the pump, causing pipeline rupture. Leakage at the outlet end will cause frequent starting of the pump and easy failure.
12. Use sturdy, good-quality water pipes for the outlet pipeline to prevent deformation and rupture of the pipeline caused by excessive pipe pressure or abnormal liquid temperature.
13. Dry running is strictly prohibited. During operation the water temperature must not exceed 40℃, and the use of liquids other than water is strictly prohibited. (For temperatures above 40℃, the BKS-APN series hot-water booster motors can be used, with a maximum water temperature of 90℃)
14. When used with a water heater, the hot water steam will generate high pressure; install a check valve at the outlet piping to protect the pressure tank for safety.
15. It can be used for rooftop pressurization, but if the inlet pipeline has a vent pipe, the pump will suck in air and run continuously; in this case the vent pipe can be removed.
16. During water shortage or water cut-off, turn off the power to prevent the motor from running continuously and being damaged.
Dry running is strictly prohibited. After the pump is installed, fill the pump chamber with water according to the following steps before the pump can operate normally. Before turning on the power, confirm that the power supply voltage matches the motor specifications, and install a leakage circuit breaker and grounding wire to avoid accidental electric shock.
a: Unscrew the water filling plug; b: Fill the pump chamber with water.
